An impressive suite of three decorative pedestals executed in the tradition of the Boulle style, featuring rich marquetry of engraved brass and pewter set against blackened wood grounds. The architecturally balanced bodies are adorned with refined panels of scrolling foliage, acanthus leaves and ornamental motifs, creating a striking contrast between the dark background and the shimmering metal inlays. The upper sections are articulated with pronounced entablatures incorporating gadroon friezes, profiled moldings and applied decorative elements that lend the ensemble a sense of monumentality. The bases are enriched with rosettes, escutcheons and alloy mounts crafted in imitation of silvered bronze, enhancing the ceremonial and decorative character of the group. Designed for the display of sculpture, vases or works of decorative art, the pedestals may be used as a unified ensemble or individually, while preserving the coherence of the overall artistic concept.
