The handle is lined with waves and finger grooves. It is mounted on a voluminous, profiled base and is equipped with a baluster on the lid. In general, the organic fluidity of the decor, the motif of hop mascarons, is ahead of its time - anticipating the early Art Nouveau of the 1880s. St. Petersburg hallmarks of silver 84 samples, 1859, assayer Eduard Fedorovich Brandenburg.
