Joint mainstream collaboration between the king of Op Art Victor Vasarely and the famous porcelain manufactory Rosenthal. Showcasing a limited edition art object of 34, a composition of 60 in the minimalist style with the personal signature of Victor Vasarely and the mark of the Rosenthal factory. The square panel is made up of 25 square, multi-colored porcelain tiles of various profiles. It represents a kind of provocation against the declared order and normativity. Where the artistic willfulness of color and form violates all possible sequence algorithms. So not a single line, neither vertically, nor horizontally, nor diagonally, represents a complete scheme. The rebus sequence is exploded by a white circle in a black field, at the base of the composition, referring to the philosophy of Malevich and denoting the missing structure, the sacred experience of art. It compositionally forms a supporting triangle or a wider cross with black and red squares on the field. Authors project Victor Vasarely. The reverse side bears the Rosenthal mark and the masters signature. Pano in a stainless steel frame. Dimensions of the porcelain panel: 49.2x49.2 cm. Size in frame: 51x51 cm. 1970.
